Setting up a new install, then using Erlangly day to day.
Getting started
- Getting started: from a new install to a published schedule, step by step.
- Install on your own server, with one command.
- Importing data: people, volume history and time off, from a spreadsheet.
- Connecting your ACD: Twilio Flex, Zoom Contact Center, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone and Amazon Connect, or any ACD through the API.
- API and command line, for your own scripts and AI assistants.
- Running Erlangly: upgrades, backups and email.
- Your licence: the free plan, trials, keys and renewals.
Using Erlangly
- Forecasting and staffing: forecasting contacts and handle time from your history, and working out the agents you need with Erlang C, occupancy and shrinkage.
- Scheduling: shift patterns, generating drafts, reading the grid, changing shifts within labour law, and publishing to agents.
- People and teams: adding and importing people, their lines of business, contracts and availability, leavers and teams.
- Schedule adherence: how adherence is scored from your ACD's agent states, how exceptions count, and the adherence report.
- Wallboard: the floor right now, with alarms, filters, saved views and a TV mode.
- Time off: asking from a phone, deciding, and how it shows on the schedule.
- Shift swaps: agents trading shifts, approved with a labour-law check.
- Users and roles: inviting people to sign in, what each role can do, and forgotten passwords.
- Several clients: for outsourcers, each client's lines of business and schedules on one install.
By role
- Planners: setting up, then each planning period, with forecasting and staffing, scheduling, and people and teams.
- Supervisors: the floor as it happens, with the wallboard, schedule adherence, time off and shift swaps.
- Agents: on their phones, with their schedule, asking for time off and swapping a shift.
- Administrators: installing and running Erlangly, with users and roles, ACD connections, email, backups and the licence.
